This was during the 1970s rioting Man Utd fans period & on a post match tv interview was asked about fan violence & it was awful scenes in matches, he said it's part of the game for the working classes to let of steam on a Saturday after toiling in factories all week. He was way off on that one but because it was Shankley he got away with it. We had a few deaths in fan violence also but hey that's ok Bill eh..
